Ladies: wht do you think of this style for guys?

I was thinking of cutting my sleeves from my flannel shirt and turning it into a vest. Along with probably an aeropostale shirt and some shorts (not cargos nor jean shorts) with converse. Preferably black an ehite what do you think of this style?
